Features:

This kit is the third in a series of 7/8” to 12” - or 7/8n2 - scale models developed by the SEVEN-EIGHTS CONSORTIUM (SEC), a joint endeavor of HARTFORD PRODUCTS and SIERRA VALLEY ENTERPRISES.  The series consists of small mining, industrial, and logging rolling stock and detail parts based on 24” gauge prototypes.  Some cars will be accurate scale replicas of equipment found around the turn of the century in the United States, while other kits will be “free-lance”, but will follow standard design and construction techniques in use during that era.  This kit is free lance, but was inspired by cars used by the Stratton Brick Co. in Macon, Georgia around the turn of the Century.  Pictures of this interesting little car appear on page 105 of Richard Hillman’s book, "Glover Steam Locomotives."
