| These new Pinhook
Shop kits are intended as a good beginning/introduction to
large-scale modeling. The kits are based on an original Bob Hartford
design, the K17 D&RG Flat/Gondola Car kit which is still available
from Hartford Products. These intriguing little 4-wheel cars will easily navigate small radii track and are generally easy to construct in an evening, except for finishing. Some license has been taken with the design of these kits to simplify construction for the first time modeler. All of the kits are modular and in addition to the chassis kit, an add-on module will be necessary to complete construction. |
